Feverfew is a garden herb and a member of the daisy family. It is a perennial plant growing to a height of between 14 and 45 cm, with light green feather-like leaves. The wild variety of Feverfew, namely Tanacetum parthenium, has been subjected to pharmacological and chemical investigation and has been found to be beneficial when treating certain forms of Migraine. The herb has been said to lessen the severity of headaches as well as symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. Those people taking Feverfew on a regular basis have had fewer Migraine attacks and suffered less nausea and vomiting during attacks.
